“porous bones”, is a chronic progressive disease which troubles a
significant number odf the population.

Risk
Natural bone loss occurs as we get
older, however there are additional factors involved which increase the
risk of developing this silent chronic disease. Some risk factors are shown in the table
to the left.
Testing
for Osteoporosis
The traditional way to diagnose
osteoporosis is by a bone density scan.
However knowing who fast bone losers are is key to preventative
treatment and the NTx test available at our clinic is highly predictive for
the onset of osteoporosis.
