FOOD INTOLERANCE TESTS
How is Food Intolerance tested?
The UK scientific community has
developed a precise and accurate testing procedure called the Enzyme-Linked
Immuno-sorbent Assay (ELISA) method for food IgG antibody detection. This
method has revolutionised the field of food intolerance detection and
treatment.
Immunoassay is considered the best
method for detecting antibody reactions to foods and these tests have
already helped many thousands of people improve their health and their
quality of life.
Using this ELISA method, scientists can now detect specific IgG antibodies
to over 200 foods. This means that
we can offer a range of tests to suit every budget and food
preference.
It couldn’t be easier – in most cases
a pinprick blood sample is all that’s required.
If the blood test detects an increase
in IgG antibody against a certain food, it means that the body is reacting
to that food by making antibodies against it.
We will report the foods you are reacting against and, just
as importantly, the foods that you did not react to.
How is the blood specimen
collected?
The food intolerance test requires
only a small volume of blood which can be obtained by pricking a finger
with a disposable lancet
The test does not require a venous
blood sample taken by a medical professional
Specimen collection can be carried at
out clinics, or
This can also be done at home,
perhaps with the aid of a friend. We provide a simple kit that contains all
you need to take your own blood sample
Finally you simply post the sample
directly to the laboratory in the envelope supplied with the kit.
